As the Head of Shoes Development, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Chloé's footwear collection. Your expertise in product development will drive the creation of innovative, high-quality shoes that meet the brand's exceptional standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement seasonal planning and production strategies to ensure timely delivery of prototypes.
  • Collaborate with designers to select and assign manufacturers for shoe production, considering factors such as style, material, and cost.
  • Manage purchasing activities for raw materials, metal hardware, and semi-finished components, ensuring efficient supply chain management.
  • Oversee the delivery schedule for finished prototypes, ensuring they meet the brand's quality and aesthetic expectations.
  • Develop and maintain costing sheets, analyzing industrial costs to ensure optimal pricing and profit margins.
  • Present industrial cost analyses to the Paris HQ, providing insights and recommendations for future product development.
  • Ensure the repetition of prototyping activities for shoe pairs, maintaining consistency and quality throughout the production process.
  • Pre-book raw materials 8 weeks prior to show room, ensuring timely availability and minimizing delays.

Requirements:
  • High-level experience in the shoes industry, with a focus on product development.
  • Fluent English (French considered a plus).
  • Planning and costing expertise applied to the collection development cycle.
  • Good knowledge of the various steps from sketch to sample.
  • Ability to coordinate people and steer them towards results with a project management approach.
  • ERP system proficiency (SAP knowledge considered a plus).
