Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team at Colgate-Palmolive Company. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely production of our premium pet food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain weekly production schedules to optimize resource utilization and meet production deadlines.
  • Coordinate with procurement, material planning, and production teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials and resources for production.
  • Monitor production activities to ensure adherence to schedules and address any delays or issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to understand demand forecasts and adjust production plans accordingly.
  • Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular production reports to management, highlighting key metrics, potential risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all production activities comply with Colgate-Palmolive Company's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory team to manage stock levels effectively.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in the production process without compromising product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations throughout the production process.
  • Work closely with various departments, including procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
  • Utilize production planning software to manage and optimize production schedules.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on production goals and timelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of functional supply chain experience.
  • Supervisory or project management experience.
  • Experience with SAP S4, Kinaxis (RapidResponse), and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail).
  • Proficiencies in advanced analytics and supply chain optimization tools/methodologies.
  • Proficient in English language.
