About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Drafter to support our Global Design and local Italian teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting, with proficiency in AutoCAD, and potentially Revit software, together with relevant project management experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production of shop drawings (plans, sections, elevations, detail views), review, revisions, and handover.
  • Collaboration with the Kvadrat Acoustics team for project briefing and task distribution.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure products are delivered and installed to schedule.
  • Ensuring timely handover of final design documents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in drafting, architecture, or engineering.
  • Experience in design and construction industry office.
  • Proficiency in English and Italian.
  • Strong technical drawing and drafting skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience in Revit and Rhino (advantageous).
  • Experience of managing/liaising onsite works with architects and contractors.
  • Knowledge of architectural and construction terminology, standards, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of project finance and delivery.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus.
  • Ability to work with deadlines, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with international teams.
