The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data management systems, you will be responsible for designing and operating our Data Warehouse and Data Lake. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing large datasets, ensuring high processing performance, and providing critical insights to inform business decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Support and develop analysis and development activities on our data warehouse, data lake, and other automatic systems related to data management.
  • Carry out data analysis, designing data marts and ETL processes, ensuring compliance with our quality and security standards.
  • Work closely with BI experts and Data scientists to ensure the release of accurate data.
  • Provide valuable insights derived from data to guide business decisions.
  • Conduct thorough tests on each component developed and released.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 3 years of experience.
  • Experience querying databases and using SQL language.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL architectures and ETL strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases.
  • Strong teamwork ability, with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel or other BI tools for data analysis and presentation.
  • Proven experience with Python programming.
  • Proven experience in data management areas, including data governance, data architectures, data modeling, and design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on process optimization.
  • Ability to design comprehensive software and data analysis test cases.
  • Good knowledge of Unix shell programming.
  • Good knowledge of the English language (both written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of NOSQL databases.
