Job Summary

The Technical Business Operations Specialist will provide support to the business management team in commercial operations, focusing on improving client service and satisfaction in the best interest of Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the business management team in preparing commercial operations materials, such as presentations and reports, and escorting clients during meetings and site visits.
  • Manage change control and systems, prepare quotes, and perform other support activities as requested.
  • Assist with back-office activities and support revenue targets and contractual compliance in specific tasks assigned.
  • Identify the best solutions for clients and ensure cGMP is applied in the work area.
  • Understand emergency procedures and safe systems of work, and align with all EH&S requirements.
  • Relate with all company functions internally and with existing clients externally.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

A University Degree in Engineering, Science, Finance, and/or Business is required.

Technical Skills

A solid understanding of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) is required.

Professional Experience

Preferably 6 months to 1 year of experience in project management, account management, sales, or marketing with internal or external client-facing responsibilities.

Languages

Proficient in Italian and English.

Personality Skills

Good analytical thinking and business orientation, with the ability to build and maintain relationships internally and with customers.

Good team worker, capable of working autonomously and with a proactive approach.
