**Become a Key Player in DRI's Success**

We are DRI, a leading company in the energy transition in Europe. Our mission is to accelerate the reduction in Europe's reliance on fossil fuels, and we have already established a portfolio of onshore wind and solar projects. To have the biggest impact, we target markets that are underserved by capital and renewable expertise, by a team with a long history in successful development and construction of major renewable projects.

As a Legal Counsel at DRI, you will play a vital role in shaping our strategy and ensuring the success of our projects. You will work on local development matters, including regulations, project due diligence, acquisition of land, grid connection, and permitting. Additionally, you will provide advice on contractual matters and general business operations related legal topics.

**Your Responsibilities Will Include:**

  • Providing general assistance and legal advice on contractual matters as required to support DRI's business.
  • Working on local development matters such as regulations, project due diligence, acquisition of land, grid connection, and permitting.
  • Liaising with external stakeholders, such as clients, vendors, and external legal counsel, to address legal matters and negotiate contractual terms.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and keeping up-to-date DRI's template contract documentation as required.
  • Handling contractual claims and associated correspondence with counterparties.
  • Maintaining DRI's and its subsidiaries' contract register and database.
  • Advising on corporate law and corporate governance matters.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, finance professionals, and senior management, to provide legal support and guidance throughout contractual matters.

**What You Will Bring:**

  • A qualified lawyer with a bachelor or master's degree in Italian law combined with practical experience in a similar capacity.
  • An aim-oriented, proactive, and communicative personality with entrepreneurial thinking capable of working independently.
  • Experience in the power industry, preferably with matters related to regulations, land acquisition, grid connection, and permitting.
  • An excellent command of Italian and English.
