Job Title: Korean Language Expert

We are seeking an experienced Korean Language Expert to join our team at Translated Srl. As a key member of our localization team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our translations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proofread and review translations to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Collaborate with content marketing and product marketing teams to ensure that chosen voice and tone flows through into all languages
  • Improve and maintain language glossary and style guides
  • Collaborate with local teams to ensure stakeholders receive localization support for local initiatives
  • Provide feedback and support to other cross-functional teams to support the growth and success of our clients

Requirements:

  • Korean Native Speaker
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Solid experience in the localization industry
  • Previous experience as a Korean Language Lead or Language Manager
  • Experience with LQAs, glossary and style guide management
  • Excellent computer and web skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Preferred knowledge of CAT tools
  • Preferred working experience or University studies in management or translation

Working Conditions:

  • This is an external contracting position (freelance)
  • 30 to 40 hrs per week position
  • Remote position (covering the APAC timezone)
