About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Functional Safety Engineer to join our team at NTT DATA in Torino or Milano. As part of the Smart Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of complex systems.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of Work Products requested by Functional Safety standards, including Impact analysis, Safety Plans, Safety Cases, and Hazard Analysis.
  • Support the definition and improvement of Functional Safety internal processes, including Safety Goals, Safe States, and Safety Requirements.
  • Collaborate with customers and suppliers to ensure compliance with Functional Safety regulations.
  • Participate in verification and validation activities, including critical reviews of test cases and verification of compliance with Functional Safety analyses.

Mandatory Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge and application of ISO 26262 standard for at least one part (2, 3, 4, 5, or 6).
  • Familiarity with AUTOSAR standard SW architecture and experience in Model-Based SW design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.

Nice To Have Skills

  • Experience in executing Safety Analyses, such as FMEA, FTA, DFA, FMEDA, etc.
  • Knowledge of Requirements Management tools, Vector tools, Automotive SPICE, and ADAS systems.
