At Element Solutions Inc, we're seeking a skilled Warehouse Worker to join our team in San Pietro Mosezzo, Italy. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products through our warehouse.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting and verifying the quality of incoming materials, communicating any discrepancies to the purchasing department as needed.
- Storing and labeling materials in the warehouse, adhering to company codes and protocols.
- Collecting materials from the warehouse and transporting them to the production line.
- Assisting assembly technicians in loading machines for dispatch, ensuring accurate and efficient loading procedures.
- Updating the SAP system and coordinating the shipment of subcontracted materials to suppliers, following instructions from the purchasing office.
- Managing inventory levels of consumables, updating system stocks (Kanban, labels, bubble wrap, boxes, etc.).
- Handling returns from assembly, both physically and in the SAP system.
- Coordinating the allocation, picking, and shipping of materials in the SAP system, ensuring accurate physical stock levels.
- Determining the necessary packaging dimensions, weight, and type to protect machinery during transportation, preparing the packing list accordingly.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
- Forklift experience and certification.
- A willingness to take on a coordinating role in the future.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop effective relationships with team members.
- Independence and self-motivation to achieve goals.
- Basic computer skills, including Excel and Word.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, AS400, or others) is a plus.
