About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in Florence, Italy. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our customers, ensuring that their IT needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support: Provide first and second-level technical support to customers, resolving issues and answering technical queries.
  2. Collaboration with Vendors: Collaborate with third-party vendors to address complex technical issues and resolve problems.
  3. Communication: Maintain effective communication with customers regarding issue status and resolutions.
  4. Ticket Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all reported incidents.
  5. Hardware and Software Support: Install, upgrade, and provide support for various operating systems, including Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office 2010, as well as applications like Cisco Jabber.
  6. Mac Support: Provide basic support for the Mac operating system to assist Apple PC users.
  7. Hardware Installation and Troubleshooting: Handle printer and computer hardware installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  8. Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers.
  9. Repair and Troubleshooting: Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other authorized peripheral equipment.
  10. Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity and workstation hardware/software issues.
  11. IT Experience: Possess broad IT experience with a basic understanding of Networks, Servers, Audio/Visual, Smart Devices, and Telecoms.
  12. Adaptability: Be adaptable and work effectively in a project-based environment.
Requirements
  1. Native Candidate: Need a native candidate who has an Italian passport.
  2. IT Knowledge: Good knowledge about computers and IT.
  3. Updated CV: Need an updated English CV.
  4. Experience: Couple of years of experience in a related field.
  5. Immediate Joining: Immediate joining is required.
