Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Quality Procedures: Create and implement supplier quality assurance procedures, standards, and control plans for incoming components, selecting appropriate measurement techniques and following established testing procedures to assess product conformance to specifications.
- Evaluate and Qualify Suppliers: Enhance the scope of testing at suppliers, evaluate and qualify potential new suppliers through audits and assessments in accordance with Supplier Quality Development.
- Oversee Non-Conformity Process: Prepare non-conformity reports, communicate with Suppliers and the Purchasing Department to ensure the supply of conforming materials to the assembly line.
- Monitor and Evaluate Supplier Performance: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance through metrics and scorecards, collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform Containment and Screening: Perform containment and screening for quality issues on parts from suppliers, work with cross-functional teams to address supplier-related quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze Supplier Quality Data: Analyze supplier quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, provide training and guidance to suppliers on quality assurance requirements and best practices.
- Manage and Control KPIs: Manage and control KPIs for both the physical and economic aspects of incoming materials and non-conforming parts, supervise and maintain efficient periodic inventory management processes.
- Conduct Supplier Audits: Conduct supplier audits as needed to support Supplier Quality Engineering activities and address relevant non-conformities, identify non-conformance and assist with root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Maintain QEHS Integrated Procedures: Maintain, update, and apply QEHS integrated procedures, support third-party audits, testing, and calibration activities.
- Education: Preferably, a Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrotechnical, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Strong focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving, collaborating with internal and external teams, ability to lead and coach Supplier Quality Assurance (Incoming Inspection) team resources, establish effective communication with colleagues and subcontractors, and proficient in quality procedures.
- Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949 (is a plus), APQP/PPAP, experience with SAP QM Module or similar ERP systems is a plus.
