We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at The Green Recruitment Company. This contract role is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the green energy transition in a leading renewable energy market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems and infrastructure to integrate renewable energy projects into existing power grids.
- Collaborate with Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and Utilities to ensure projects meet regulatory standards and are executed efficiently.
- Perform feasibility studies and system analysis, including load flow, stability, and short-circuit assessments.
- Develop technical specifications, drawings, and engineering documents for grid connection projects.
- Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and operational phases.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Proven track record in electrical design engineering, particularly with grid connections for renewable energy projects.
- Experience working with IPPs and Utilities is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to electrical infrastructure and renewable energies.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
What We Offer:
- A competitive day rate of €500.
- A fixed-term contract of 14 months.
