Procurement Specialist

**Procurement Expert Wanted**

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Imi Precision Engineering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing products and components while liaising with manufacturing and engineering departments.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and in line with organizational targets and requirements.
• Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
• Assess tenders and quotations from potential suppliers.
• Develop suppliers' relationships and ensure continued expediting on pending purchase orders.
• Explore alternate sources for goods and materials.
• Undertake research on and business travels to evaluate existing and new suppliers.
• Provide support to Category Managers/Senior Buyers.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures during supplier negotiations and contracts award process.

**Requirements:**

• Good knowledge of English both written and spoken.
• IT skills with ERP systems.
• Previous experience in a purchasing role would be advantageous.
• Manufacturing background.
• Collaborative and a good team worker.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and persuasion skills.
