EU077 Vishay Semiconductor Italiana S.p.A. is seeking a talented Senior Analog Designer to join our IC Design Team in Northern Italy.

As a Senior Analog Designer, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and bringing to production complex analog & mixed power management ICs that are going to be at the core of – but not limited to - High Performance Computing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Specification and design of analog & mixed-signal sub-systems.
  2. Verification of design at block-level, IC level, and system level.
  3. Design-For-Testability (DFT) implementation.
  4. Maintenance of engineering documents in accordance with quality processes.
  5. Structured tracking and implementation of design improvements.
  6. Support for test-engineering, product engineering and operations as well as participation in ATE data reviews, limit reviews and device yield analysis.

Requirements:

  1. B.S. in Electrical Engineering or higher qualification.
  2. 5+ years of circuit design experience in Power Mgmt ICs and Switching Regulator ICs.
  3. Modelling (system-verilog, verilogams) and generating specifications and validation criteria of DC-DC converter systems and sub-systems (including ADC/DAC, Reference & biasing circuits, LDO, Oscillators, PLL, Sensors, Drivers).
  4. Good understanding on how to plan for ESD and Latchup robust design.
  5. Physical understanding and use experience of CMOS/BiCMOS/BCD Process Technologies as well as of vertical technologies for discrete MOSFETs.
  6. Hands-on test and characterization of ICs. Review of test results and support to System Application Engineering, Test Engineering and Product Engineering.
  7. Self-motivated, individual contributor with strong problem solving skills.
  8. Experience of working in wide-ranging roles and flexible environments.
  9. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
