Adecco Consultant is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Financial Controller for a leading biopharmaceutical company. As a key member of the internal team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting processes and procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial statements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the definition of active and passive balance sheet items and economic elements, analyzing related information to support external consultants.
  • Monitor P&L scenarios and prepare monthly reporting on P&L and balance sheet, highlighting variations compared to forecasts.
  • Summarize the income statement situation through specific reports to the Company Management.
  • Monitor payment flows from private and public customers and propose actions to improve them when necessary.
  • Verify annual reconciliations with customers and suppliers.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly payments by verifying bank movements and month-end balances.
  • Prepare treasury and cash flow reporting.
  • Act as the point of reference with the external distributor of products.
  • Coordinate and follow-up the statutory audit with the external consultant.
  • Be responsible for the annual tax declaration.
  • Prepare and discuss the annual budget for overheads and personnel costs/expenses.
  • Identify and formulate suggestions for process improvements, develop processes, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Economics.
  • Fluent knowledge of English.
  • Excellent expertise in Excel files.
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical companies is an advantage.
