Job Responsibilities

  1. Technical Issue Resolution

Respond to ongoing technical issues of KLA equipment where field product support teams were unable to solve.

Collaboration and Troubleshooting

Assist field engineers in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging sophisticated optical/electro/mechanical equipment and computer systems, coupled with software solutions.

Problem-Solving and Analysis

Work on challenging problems requiring in-depth system knowledge and a sound understanding of operating principles.

Decision-Making and Judgment

Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for achieving results.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with specialists and other teams to craft an optimized plan of action to resolve technical issues and recover equipment functionality to customer satisfaction.

Travel and On-Site Support

Travel within the region and worldwide to support escalated issues on-site on short notice.

Documentation and Reporting

Create documentation relative to troubleshooting processes, technical findings, and provide service and postmortem reports.

Tool Installation and Upgrade

May be involved in tool installation, relocation, and upgrade of equipment.

Technical Training

Provide technical training.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree, Bachelor's Level Degree, or work experience of at least 1 year.
