About the Role

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join its Prevention and Protection team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of employees in our warehouse. The successful candidate will report directly to the Prevention and Protection Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure the implementation of control measures until their completion.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports on internal metrics and highlight any deviations.
  • Analyze workplace safety data, including injury rates and near misses.
  • Utilize knowledge of Amazon's policies and procedures to conduct audits and provide guidance to employees and their supervisors on safe working practices.
  • Develop expertise in a specific area of responsibility while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection protocols.
  • Monitor the work environment continuously, ensuring compliance with Amazon's safety procedures.
  • Support investigations into incidents and near misses to identify root causes.
  • Develop and implement action plans to ensure ongoing compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality during incident investigations.
  • Be flexible with working hours to ensure the completion of incident investigations, including weekends and overtime.
  • Utilize specific tools and platforms to support the warehouse and provide ongoing training on health and safety topics.
A Day in the Life
  • Review previous shift information.
  • Implement daily, weekly, or monthly routines.
  • Conduct audits in all operational areas of the warehouse.
  • Daily meetings with Operations to verify the implementation of safety procedures.
  • Monitor and verify the safety management system.
