As a pioneer in the luxury yacht industry, Silent Italia is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Foreman to join our team in Fano. Our mission is to create an independent and environmentally friendly sailing experience that combines the silent cruising of a sailboat with the luxury of a motor yacht.

As a Mechanical Foreman, you will be part of our international team, working closely with our production manager and technical department to ensure the smooth operation of our solar-powered yachts.

Your responsibilities will include team coordination, work planning, inspections, controls, and coordination with production manager and technical department. You will also have the opportunity to work on a highly innovative yacht company, with a competitive salary and an unlimited employment contract.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 7-10 years of experience in luxury ship building, with experience leading a team and a passion for boats/yachts in general. You will also need to have strong verbal and written communication skills in Italian, with English language skills being beneficial.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in luxury ship building
  • Experience leading a team
  • Experience with electrical propulsion is preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Passion for boats/yachts in general (boating license is an advantage)
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
  • Organizational skills, flexibility, and reliability
  • Creative problem solving attitude
  • Solution oriented
  • Willingness to travel
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Italian (English language skills are beneficial)
