Job Description

Hitachi Rail is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Associate Automation Advanced Services Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for installing, integrating, testing, and commissioning Hitachi Rail monitoring systems software at central and peripheral levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, integrate, test, and commission Hitachi Rail monitoring systems software at central and peripheral levels.
  • Preliminary setup and testing of the base OS and tools on servers and platforms for hosting the Hitachi Rail Monitoring systems SW.
  • Set up of testing environment and testing scenarios both in lab and in field.
  • Produce documentation related to the different project phases (mainly configuration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance phases).
  • Discuss technical topics with clients.
  • Manage official delivery phases with clients from a technical point of view.

  • System definition, design, and integration capabilities.
  • Complex problem sharing and solving with an open mind approach.
  • Strong self-improving capability.
  • Capability to achieve assigned objectives on time and in quality.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong team working attitude in an international environment, adapted to different cultures.

Education and Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent technical background.

Languages

  • English: Upper intermediate level required, any additional language would be a plus.
