About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Platform Specialist to join our Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Team at HITACHI EUROPE S.R.L. (ITALY). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of our brand new Energy Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement advanced automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, and RTUs to ensure seamless operation and communication within our site infrastructure.
- Develop and configure SCADA systems for effective data acquisition, visualization, and control, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability.
- Utilize Codesys language to create customized control logic for automation tasks, driving innovation and excellence in our operations.
- Implement and configure OPC-UA, Modbus, TCP/IP, and other automation protocols for secure and reliable data exchange, ensuring seamless integration with our systems.
- Configure Ethernet and intranet settings to establish robust and reliable communication networks within our infrastructure, ensuring seamless data transfer and minimal downtime.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in PLC, HMI, and RTU functionalities and programming, with a strong understanding of automation principles.
- Experience in SCADA programming and design, with a focus on data acquisition and visualization.
- Knowledge of Codesys language for control logic development, with a strong understanding of automation logic and programming.
- Familiarity with OPC-UA, Modbus, TCP/IP, and other automation protocols, with a focus on secure and reliable data exchange.
- Expertise in configuring Ethernet and intranet settings, with a focus on robust and reliable communication networks.
- Solid understanding of software and IT principles related to automation and monitoring systems, with a focus on innovation and excellence.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on driving efficiency and reliability in our operations.
