Sustainability Expert

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Specialist to join our team at IKEA. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in driving our commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility.

• Develop and implement sustainability strategies that align with IKEA's global goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective integration of sustainability into our store operations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to advance our sustainability agenda.
• Communicate sustainability initiatives and progress to internal and external audiences.
• Conduct regular sustainability assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Lead and support co-worker training and engagement initiatives on sustainability topics.
• Work with national and local partners to develop and execute shared sustainability initiatives.

• Proven experience in sustainability, corporate social responsibility, or a related field.
• Strong project management skills and ability to engage stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data and develop recommendations.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in other languages is an asset.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
