Key Role Summary

LivaNova has embarked on a Sustainability strategy delivery program, with a focus on global coordination to address regulatory requirements and commercial needs. The Sustainability commitment encompasses the Company's Sustainability Focus Areas – People, Products, and Planet.

The successful candidate will drive the Sustainability governance structure and be accountable for prioritization and execution of the strategy and associated initiatives. Partnerships with the Head of Sustainability and membership in the LivaNova LEIP team are essential.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Head of Sustainability and ESG Task Force to execute against the Sustainability strategy with data gathering/analysis & PMO support.
  2. Maintain the central framework for Sustainability requirements.
  3. Knowledge of all tools and technologies that support Sustainability.
  4. Assist with Sustainability transformational change management internally and externally.

Requirements

  1. Data aggregation and modeling, leveraging Lean methodology problem-solving tools.
  2. Lead global as well as small- and large-scale project delivery, monitoring budget, resources, and timeline with minimal guidance and supervision.
  3. Ensure compliance to Regulatory standards, mapping risks and driving corrective actions.
  4. Quickly learn new processes, policies, and technologies.
  5. Seek, understand and critically apply Sustainability industry best practices.
  6. Build best-practice-based processes and globally collaborate to ensure alignment / transparency.
  7. Robustly document processes via flow diagram, standard operating procedure (SOP), user guide.
  8. Implement and enforce processes and controls that enhance ESG KPIs and financial discipline.

Key Qualifications

  1. Consistently high-level communication skills (written and verbal).
  2. Lean-trained to organize, lead / co-lead, and deliver Lean events (Kaizens, workshops, etc.).
  3. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while executing deliverables.
  4. Able to engage a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels (both internally and externally).
  5. Able to motivate and coach others at various skill levels, seniority, cultural background.
