About the JobWe are seeking an Interiors Operations Leader to join our team at our Headquarter in Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for influencing the development of new products from an industrial perspective, focusing on interior issues. Your main activities will include evaluating and influencing product assembly concepts, participating in interfunctional meetings, analyzing pre-series product problems, and driving problem-solving processes.
Your Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and influence product assembly concepts and solutions, working closely with the Research and Development department.
- Participate in interfunctional meetings to align assembly and functional demands with emerging development/modification issues.
- Analyze pre-series product problems for interior and water management issues, starting and driving problem-solving processes from proto assembly to series.
- Directly participate in the proto assembly phase and pre-series assembly phase in production, responsible for problem-solving.
- Collect, report, and follow up on assembly complaints for interior/water management issues from virtual phase to series.
- Closely cooperate with Manufacturing Engineering to define and set up specific assembly tooling.
- Support series production analysis and actively participate in problem-solving processes.
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Automotive) or Technical Degree with a solid experience in a similar technical role.
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of design and CAD.
- Experience in interiors analysis (TCA, drawings/dimensional reports interpretations, RPS concepts, plastic material, and moulding processes).
- Fluent English, Italian, and German will be considered a plus.
