About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UI Designer to join our team at AKQA Media. As a UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in the strategy, conception, and design of beautiful ideas, products, and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver design solutions across various touchpoints, including websites, mobile apps, and digital platforms.
  • Champion excellent design and craft standards, ensuring that all design work meets the highest quality and aesthetic standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, UX, and development teams, to deliver innovative and effective digital communications, interface design, and interaction design.
  • Create style tiles, UI kits, mood boards, and style guides to ensure consistency and cohesion across all design projects.
  • Ideate and co-design with peers and clients in a positive and collaborative manner, ensuring that all design solutions meet the needs and goals of the project.
  • Present design work confidently to stakeholders and build trusting relationships, ensuring that all design solutions are well-received and implemented.
  • Ensure that all projects and tasks are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality, meeting the expectations of clients and stakeholders.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with wider teams, mentoring junior designers and staying up-to-date with the latest design and technology trends.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a dedicated digital design role, with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience with interface design, user-centered design methodologies, and design thinking.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and prototyping tools, with a strong understanding of design principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of motion design is desirable, but not essential.
