Position Overview:

In the capacity of a Building Consultant within our Business Advisory division, you will serve as a crucial asset to the growth of Arcadis. Your involvement in pioneering projects will embody the ethos of our organization, and you will assist various business lines in executing new strategies. Your responsibilities will include conducting status assessments through documentation review and on-site oversight at construction locations (adhering to all necessary safety protocols), positioning you as a key resource for our clientele. You will engage in due diligence activities alongside industry professionals, with opportunities to collaborate within dynamic, high-caliber teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting documentary evaluations: reviewing authorizations, cadastral conditions, and urban planning and construction documentation;
  • Overseeing construction sites to assess building conditions, identify defects and inconsistencies, and estimate costs for necessary modifications (CapEx planning);
  • Evaluating property maintenance status through thorough inspections;
  • Analyzing tenancy and lease agreements;
  • Providing client support during negotiations and the drafting of sales contracts, in collaboration with legal, fiscal, and environmental advisors;
  • Creating checklists and formulating Q&A documents;
  • Monitoring the progress of real estate developments;
  • Assessing project timelines and quality;
  • Reviewing procurement contracts and incurred expenses;
  • Verifying work progress and updating cash flow through SALs and certifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in due diligence within real estate firms and/or technical offices;
  • A bachelor's and/or master's degree, ideally in Architecture or Civil/Building Engineering;
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset;
  • Goal-oriented approach;
  • Proficient in the English language (B2/C1 level, both written and spoken);
  • Advanced knowledge of the Office Suite;
  • Familiarity with design and planning software (AutoCAD/Revit);
  • Willingness to undertake short-term travel on a national and international scale.
