Job Summary:

The Process Control Specialist will be responsible for developing technical specifications, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations for the Plant Control System and Safety Instrumented Systems. The Specialist will also be responsible for checking, verifying, and coordinating vendor development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee the quality of generated deliverables and their compliance with contractual requirements, within assigned budget and schedule.
  • Assist the Head of Department in ensuring the application and continuous update of department and company standards, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Attend technical training as per department needs, including knowledge and use of CAE tools, and exchange experience with colleagues for new design techniques.
  • Monitor the market state of the art, preparing technical and commercial evaluations of new products, technologies, work cycles, applications, etc.
  • Attend Factory Acceptance Test of Control Systems on behalf of the department responsible for Inspection, in coordination with the Project Leader.
  • Attend system power on and site acceptance test of Control Systems at plant site.
  • Assist Construction and Commissioning Departments, in accordance with site requests and project needs.

Requirements:

  • First-level degree in technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience.
  • Past experiences in autonomously executing tasks on projects.
  • Past experiences on control systems factory acceptance tests and/or plant erection/commissioning.
  • Fluent English speaker and writer.
  • Availability to travel for short and long periods in Italy and abroad.
