Electromagnetic Systems Designer

We are seeking a skilled Electromagnetic Systems Designer to join our R&D department at MTA S.p.A. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic or telecommunication engineering and experience in designing electromagnetic solutions for Radio Frequency communication systems.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design electromagnetic solutions for Radio Frequency communication systems, starting from customer technical specifications and/or project requirements;
• Drive the realization of samples to test and optimize the robustness of design and will be responsible for the tuning and final testing of electromagnetic prototypes;
• Prepare relevant documentation, including test reports with result analysis, following Company and customer quality standards;
• Participate in Project Reviews following automotive quality standards.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronic or Telecommunication Engineering;
• Knowledge of antenna theory and electromagnetic simulation;
• Basic knowledge of main lab instrumentation as Oscilloscope, Multimeter and RF Network Analyzer and/or Spectrum analyzer;
• Knowledge of measurement electromagnetic site (Network Analyzer, Near Field, Far Field, free space measurements);
• Knowledge of Electronic CAD for antenna design and simulation;
• Willingness of continuous learning;
• Good communication skills;
• Strong attitude for teamwork;
• Attitude to precision;
• Good English and Italian knowledge, both written and spoken.
