Electronics Engineer for Radio Frequency Communication Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Radio Frequency Electronic Designer to join our Electronic Design Team within the R&D department at MTA S.p.A. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing electronic solutions for Radio Frequency communication systems, including filter design, impedance matching network design, small-signal (S-parameter), low noise amplifier for automotive OEM applications.



The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Electronic Engineering and experience with specific CAD tools for simulation and electronic design, such as Keysight Genesys and Altium Designer. They will also be able to fully characterize, debug, and tune the designed PCBA using Network and Spectrum Analyzers, RF Signal Generators, and Noise Figure Meters.



Main Responsibilities


  • Design electronic solutions for Radio Frequency communication systems
  • Use specific CAD tools for simulation and electronic design
  • Characterize, debug, and tune the designed PCBA
  • Realize necessary documentation for PCBA production


Organizational Interfaces


  • Join the Electronic Design Team, within the R&D department, reporting to Electronic Design Manager
  • Daily interface with colleagues from other R&D teams and further company stakeholders (e.g. Quality, Purchasing, Sales)


Main Requirements


  • Degree in Electronic Engineering
  • Interest in RF electronics and antennas
  • Candidate will need to have knowledge of analog electronics
  • Candidate will need to have a basic knowledge of main lab instrumentation, such as Oscilloscope, Multimeter and RF Network Analyzer and/or Spectrum analyzer
  • Candidate will need to have knowledge of Electronic CAD or RF simulation
  • IATF Automotive standard knowledge (preferred)


Main skills required are willingness of continuous learning, good communication skills, strong attitude for teamwork, attitude to precision and good English and Italian knowledge, both written and spoken.
