Job Summary

We are seeking a Data & Analytics Specialist to join our Global Procurement and Supply Chain Transformation function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying current needs of the P&SC functions in terms of basic and advanced data analytics. You will develop an integrated plan to implement the required analytics in a suitable platform, ensuring high usability standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify current needs of the P&SC functions in terms of basic and advanced data analytics
  • Develop an integrated plan to implement the required analytics in a suitable platform, ensuring high usability standards
  • Identify and adopt advanced analytics methods and approaches to extract insights and potential new areas of value creation from business data
  • Perform analysis and build data-driven models to allow sound and effective business decision making
  • Create hypotheses and experiments to identify non-explicit relationships among business phenomena, allowing the design of new tactics and strategies
  • Ensure constant and continuous access to data and reporting for different functions, enabling them to deliver their value without disruptions
  • Prepare presentations and communication tools supported by data-driven recommendations
  • Further develop a data-driven culture within the function and outside, creating and adopting a common language, common tools, and best practices around data handling and data usage

Requirements

  • Degree in quantitative fields like Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Computing, and Engineering
  • Years of expertise in managing complex structures of data
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong passion for data analysis combined with attention to business impacts
  • Strong analytical skills, mathematical abilities, and business acumen
  • Critical thinking, clear and open communication, relational, and team-building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to share information
  • Excellent knowledge of Office package, with advanced expertise in Excel (pivot, macro, statistics formulas)
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of R or Python is preferred
  • Nice to have: knowledge of PowerBI, SSRS, DataIku
