Enterprise Solutions Architect

Position Overview

This role is pivotal in driving the digital evolution of illimity and its affiliated entities.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Technology Division, you will play a crucial role in the design and advancement of intricate projects that significantly affect IT applications, utilizing Agile and SCRUM methodologies. Your expertise in agile development best practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration, and DevOps, alongside your proficiency with leading database technologies and AWS cloud services, will be instrumental in fostering innovation within your area of specialization.

Your initial focus will be to assess the architecture of existing IT systems and establish the benchmark for the solutions currently operational. Following this, you will steer the architectural evolution in alignment with the company's strategic objectives, requirements, and market demands. This includes identifying emerging trends and technologies, developing Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to expedite the digital transformation process while maintaining quality within budgetary limits.

You will be tasked with designing the architecture of applications, encompassing various components such as user interfaces, services, and cloud infrastructure. Additionally, you will set the standards for application and data development teams, collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure that the architecture meets business requirements.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions.
• Proven background as a software engineer with familiarity in technologies such as Vue, TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, GraphQL, MySQL, PHP Symfony, C#, Flutter, AWS, Kafka, and Redis.
• Extensive experience with major cloud service providers, preferably AWS, and understanding of the three service models: IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Knowledge of key integration methodologies, including SOA, API, open data, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience in API design, specifically RESTful services and GraphQL.
• Strong drive to achieve established objectives.
• Excellent organizational skills, proactive approach, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possession of AWS Solution Architect certification and familiarity with application development for the real estate sector (proptech) is advantageous.

About the Division

The Specialised Credit Division focuses on the acquisition, management, and enhancement of secured and unsecured distressed corporate receivables, as well as financing for various buyers. Within this division, illimity specializes in digital brokerage for the sale of real estate and capital assets from courts, new real estate developments, financial institutions, and the open market.
