Job Description

**Accounting Manager Role at Prometeia**

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Finance & Administration department at Prometeia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to our leadership team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with national and international accounting standards.
  • Accounting Closure Activities: Organize and control periodic accounting closure activities, including the preparation of quarterly financial statements and support to the Controlling team for the preparation of the Monthly Revenues Report.
  • Administrative Activities: Supervise and coordinate all administrative activities, including active invoicing, monitoring of collections, and analysis of overdue payments, purchase cycle process, intercompany reconciliations, and compliance with accounting, administrative, corporate, and tax requirements.
  • Complex Transactions: Process accounting entries related to complex and/or extraordinary transactions.
  • Accounting Standards: Verify, apply, and implement new national and/or international accounting standards applicable to the Group's Companies.
  • Accounting Procedures: Update and continuously improve accounting procedures.
  • Team Management: Manage and coordinate a team of 9 people.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience of at least 10 years in the same role within structured companies.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and accounting systems.
Soft Skills
  • Leadership: Excellent ability to manage people and time.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and ability to cooperate with diverse company departments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Willingness to bring continuous improvement of the company culture and interest in digital innovation of the company processes.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility and problem-solving.
  • Language Skills: Good English level (at least B1).
