Position Overview: The Logistics Advisor plays a crucial role in our organization, reporting directly to the Group Logistics Director. This position is responsible for evaluating and managing logistics operations, which encompass warehousing, transportation, and customer service across multiple locations. The Logistics Advisor will also identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives to improve overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support logistics initiatives, including compliance with legal standards, development of new warehouse management strategies, and enhancements to transportation management systems.
  • Assist in the analysis of logistics KPIs and contribute to the formulation of strategic plans.
  • Lead and support logistics tender processes.
  • Implement standardized logistics processes and tools across the organization.
  • Identify areas for improvement and oversee operational upgrades.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop effective logistics solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Economics.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics roles, particularly in warehousing and transportation, at a managerial or process expert level.
  • Strong process orientation and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage complex tasks under pressure.

Performance Metrics:

  • Management of logistics costs.
  • Monitoring and reporting of logistics KPIs.
  • Analysis of KPIs in comparison to market benchmarks.
  • Compliance with tender results.
