Spatial Data Infrastructure Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Spatial Data Infrastructure Software Engineer to join our team at Planetek Italia. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing spatial data infrastructure solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop web-based spatial data applications using GIS-related libraries and technologies.
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of spatial data infrastructure systems.
- Write technical documentation and user guides for spatial data infrastructure solutions.
- Implement geospatial analysis tools and algorithms for spatial data processing and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical quality, product delivery, and impactful work.
- Strong understanding of GIS and EO concepts, including spatial data models and data structures.
- Experience working with GIS-related libraries and technologies, such as Map Server, Geo Server, and ESRI Server Solution.
- Experience with relational database management systems with spatial extensions, such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS and MySQL.
- Knowledge of programming languages, including JavaScript, Java, Python, and PHP.
- Experience with technologies such as .NET, Web API, and Docker.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders and partners.
