About the Role

Bunge Iberica SA is seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team in Porto Corsini. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of our environmental management system and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to minimize the environmental impact of our operations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable practices and reduce waste.
  4. Manage and maintain our environmental management system, including tracking and reporting on key performance indicators.
  5. Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on environmental policies and procedures.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and laws.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  8. Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements through sustainable practices.
  9. Develop and maintain a comprehensive environmental risk management plan.
  10. Collaborate with the health, safety, and security team to ensure a comprehensive approach to sustainability.
Requirements
  1. University degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental management or a related field.
  3. Proven track record of developing and implementing effective environmental management systems.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  6. Knowledge of environmental regulations and laws.
  7. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills.
