CAPEX BUYER – Indirect Materials Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled CAPEX BUYER – Indirect Materials Specialist to join our team at ManpowerGroup. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of indirect materials, ensuring cost savings and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Negotiation: Review and negotiate purchase and supply conditions for Local Indirect Materials suppliers, ensuring optimal pricing and terms.
- Benchmarking and Analysis: Conduct benchmarking studies to control supplier performance and identify cost reduction opportunities, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- RFQ Management: Issue and monitor RFQs for Indirect Purchasing, providing RFQ and benchmark results to associated requesters and maintaining corresponding contracts and supplier data in the respective system.
- Category Strategy: Define and implement category/sub-category strategy, reviewing supplier base, defining a robust preferred supplier base, reducing the number of suppliers, and bundling business accordingly.
- Data Management: Ensure data transparency and high data quality in all Friction Purchasing used systems (e.g. SAP), maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Contract Management: Ensure transparency in regards to all contracts, reviewing terms and validities frequently, and executing and documenting price and contract negotiations.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously maintain and track selected purchasing key performance indicators (e.g. savings, purchase & supply conditions, market economics, and commodity spend details), periodically reporting cost saving status and achieved cost improvement performance.
- Compliance and Improvement: Systematically contribute to the overall achievement of all assigned Indirect Purchasing KPIs, monitoring and reporting progress/achievement on a monthly basis to management, and validating cost savings with relevant actors.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or engineering.
- Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment, excellent MS Excel, PowerPoint, and analysis applications skills, good knowledge of SAP, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience: Experience in Indirect material Purchasing with a focus on categories: Capex - Maintenance - Technical profile skills experience in plant, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Attitude and Behavior: Proactive approach, ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, field work, and hands-on approach, flexibility, problem-solving, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
