We are tasked with finding a:
Indirect Materials Procurement Specialist

Location:
Cuneo Province

Job Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and negotiate procurement and supply terms with local suppliers of indirect materials.
  • Conduct benchmarking analyses to assess supplier performance and uncover opportunities for cost savings.
  • Manage and oversee RFQs for indirect purchasing, delivering RFQ and benchmarking outcomes to relevant stakeholders while maintaining supplier data and contracts in the appropriate systems to support investment initiatives.
  • Develop and execute category and sub-category strategies. Assess the supplier landscape, establish a strong preferred supplier network, reduce supplier numbers, and consolidate business where feasible.
  • Ensure transparency and high-quality data in all systems utilized for Friction Purchasing (e.g., SAP).
  • Enhance and standardize processes for the assigned category, ensuring uniform documentation across all Friction affiliates.
  • Oversee contract management, ensuring clarity regarding all agreements and regularly reviewing terms and validity.
  • Facilitate and document negotiations related to pricing and contracts, aiding in the establishment of framework agreements.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate key purchasing performance indicators, such as savings, procurement conditions, market trends, and expenditure details.
  • Regularly report on cost-saving achievements and improvements using established Supply Management tools and templates.
  • Contribute systematically to the overall success of all assigned Indirect Purchasing KPIs, including cost savings, payment terms, and active supplier counts.
  • Track and report progress to management on a monthly basis, preparing for and participating in category review meetings.
  • Validate cost savings with relevant parties and assist local purchasing in converting identified savings opportunities into actual savings.
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes and systems related to indirect purchasing.
  • Ensure compliance with all assigned roles and responsibilities in accordance with current Supply Management standards and procedures.


Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or engineering

• Strong ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical tools; good knowledge of SAP

• Excellent interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, self-driven, and organized

• Eagerness to collaborate within a complex and dynamic multinational organization to enhance and acquire new skills

• Experience in indirect materials procurement, particularly in categories such as Capex and Maintenance

• Technical expertise in plant operations, preferably within the automotive industry

• Team-oriented with a proactive mindset, capable of engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, hands-on approach, adaptability, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Contract:
Direct permanent placement, with compensation commensurate with actual experience and indicative remuneration package.
