About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor Relations Supervisor to join our team at United Parcel Service. As a Labor Relations Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining positive labor relations and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to UPS Healthcare Management, working closely with our HR Business Partner and HR Operations Team as the main contact for internal and external social partners.
  • Report directly to the UPS Healthcare Italy Managing Director and Labor Manager, operating under European compliance guidelines and ensuring local labor compliance.
  • Be the primary contact for union members and internal and external stakeholders, liaising with management to organize union meetings and participating in these.
  • Manage collective labor disputes and conflicts, training and providing advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Keep track of relevant legal and collective labor topics, ensuring that HR and our legal departments are kept abreast of any developments that could influence the organization.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Labor Specialist or Manager in a complex organization, preferably in the logistics, pharma, or retail sector.
  • A degree, preferably in labor law or economics with a labor-focus.
  • Prior knowledge of Italian Trade CBA (CCNL Commercio, Logistica Trasporto Merci e Spedizione e Terziario).
  • Solid experience in negotiating with unions, employees, and employer stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An ability to identify problems and the autonomy to prioritize important tasks.
  • Skill, passion, and restlessness to improve.
  • Business proficiency in English.
  • A willingness to travel, as you may be required to make frequent business trips throughout Italy.
