Job Summary

A Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing assistance to the IT team in the systems area, focusing on virtual infrastructure, networking, and cloud services. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT and previous experience as a Help Desk technician or System Integrator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the IT team with regard to virtual infrastructure, networking, and cloud services.
  • Manage the ticketing portal and provide support to internal users regarding company software, office package, windows environment, and hardware.
  • Ensure the operation of all workstations.
  • Normalise domain users.
  • Analysing, verifying, and normalising the inventory of hardware and software devices.
  • Support the management of fixed/mobile telephones.
  • Support the management of rented printers, replace toners, and other consumables.

Requirements

  • Preferable IT background.
  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in the role of Help Desk technician/System Integrator in medium-sized companies and/or system integrators.
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
  • Good knowledge of the Windows environment (client and server).
