Job Summary

Ferrero Spa is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety in our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of quality assurance team members, providing ongoing feedback and support to ensure they meet their goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and Ferrero Spa's food safety and quality standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration on quality and food safety initiatives.
  • Manage and track corrective actions (CAPAs) and non-conforming product reports (NCRs) to ensure effective root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Facilitate internal audits and participate in scheduled food safety and facility GMP audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate pre-op, post-op, and glass/brittle plastic inspections to ensure quality and food safety standards are met.
  • Act as a liaison between management and quality staff to support corporate and plant-driven initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain training programs for quality staff and associates at all levels on quality programs and procedures.
  • Interact with other supervisors and managers within Ferrero Spa to share best practices and improve quality and food safety standards.
  • Perform and maintain environmental monitoring and product testing programs to ensure quality and food safety standards are met.
  • Trend monthly KPI data for the Quality Manager and assist in preparing reports for senior leadership management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and HACCP certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
