Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Business Analyst to join our team at Hs Mittweida. As a key member of our P&C Retail Insurance and Technical Control function, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and ensuring financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Action Planning: Develop and implement local technical action plans to achieve financial ambitions by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average earned premium, risk premium, claims frequency, and average claim cost, with a focus on Non-Motor business.
  2. KPI Consistency: Verify the alignment between industrial KPIs and financial performance.
  3. Portfolio Management: Steer the portfolio mix through portfolio monitoring, defining and ensuring the implementation of related technical standards.
  4. Business Unit Coordination: Coordinate interactions with specific Business Units/Legal Entities on P&C business-related topics.
  5. Technical Support: Provide technical support to other Hs Mittweida functions/BUs.
  6. Compliance: Ensure general compliance with rules within the P&C Retail perimeter.
  7. Performance Monitoring: Monitor main technical KPIs and challenge Business Units' technical action plans and performance.
  8. Reporting: Produce reports and presentations at local and Group consolidated levels for top management, particularly for quarterly Group results disclosures.
  9. Consistency Check: Focus on checking consistency between technical and financial indicators.
  10. Portfolio Monitoring: Coordinate portfolio monitoring at Group level via the dedicated web-based platform.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Master/Bachelor's degree in Economics/Scientific fields (e.g., Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science).
  2. Language Proficiency: English working proficiency.
  3. Software Skills: Ms Office proficiency, particularly advanced knowledge of Excel.
  4. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills.
  5. Attitude: Flexibility, problem-solving, and goal-oriented attitude.
  6. Communication: Good written and oral communication.
  7. Teamwork: Strong ability to work as part of a team, interacting with internal and/or external stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
  1. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the Insurance Sector.
  2. Finance Background: Former experience in Finance departments.
