Job Description

Gi Group S.P.A. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Coordinator to join our team in Milan. As a key member of our project management department, you will be responsible for coordinating project activities, assisting the project manager, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the Energy Carriers business line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project reporting and assist in project planning, including the preparation of project execution plans and procedures.
  • Assist in the allocation of resources and assess man-hours required for project mobilization.
  • Coordinate specific project activities, including project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Prepare project external interfaces management procedures and identify, categorize, and manage project external interfaces.
  • Prepare project risk management plans, manage risk assessment and risk response activities, and update the project risk register.
  • Prepare vendor assistance on site procedures and manage project vendor assistance on site, including notification, intervention, and cost monitoring.
  • Prepare project guarantee claims management procedures and manage the process of notification, reparation, and closure of guarantee issues.
  • Support the management of back charges and assist in managing change orders and claims.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering Science.
  • Professional qualification or chartership, such as PMP, CIOB certification.
  • Knowledge of English language at B2/C1 level.
  • Minimum 4/5 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
  • Knowledge of AWP is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills.
  • Proven background of resourcefulness under pressure.
