Job Title: Reliability and Maintenance Engineer
Summary: Ensure the optimal management, availability, and reliability of assets. Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize maintenance costs and equipment downtime, ensuring effective and efficient plant operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Apply advanced maintenance methods and techniques to achieve world-class maintenance and drive operational excellence.
  • Propose and implement changes to improve the reliability of machines and maintenance processes.
  • Develop and implement Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for new and existing assets, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring failures, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Measure and analyze performance of critical assets, identify root causes for failures, manage related data, and implement maintenance tasks to improve reliability.
  • Plan and manage preventive and predictive maintenance activities, developing strategies and plans of maintenance on SAP maintenance system.
  • Process non-stock materials and contractor operations purchase requisitions using SAP system, and interface directly with Mechanical and Electro-Instrumental Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Develop and analyze monthly maintenance costs reports using SAP maintenance system, identifying areas for corrective action to reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with direct Manager to propose the purchase of technical maintenance materials and unify mechanical and electrical spare parts.
  • Define new spare parts codes and delete obsolete ones for the warehouse spare parts.
  • Perform weekly Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and provide re-order recommendations.
  • Provide technical support to solve mechanical and electro-instrumental issues.
  • Contribute to new facilities, projects, and activities to ensure maintainability and reliability of newly installed and modified equipment, and identify related classification.
  • Interact with suppliers for material out of specification for quality and quantity.
  • In cooperation with direct Manager, ensure mechanical integrity and interface with government agencies for PED legislation requirements.
  • Act as Mechanical Supervisor back-up and ensure security according to defined art. 2 comma e) od D. e.
Qualifications:

The following are required for the role:

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of statistical tools and engineering concepts.
  • Fluent in English (both speaking and writing).

The following are preferred for this role:

  • Experience using statistical and probability methods and tools.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • SAP experience.
  • 3 years of previous experience in a Reliability Engineer role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
