Job Requirements Role Overview:

The selected resource will be directly engaged in the engineering project activities, with increasing levels of autonomy, responsibility, and coordination.

This role will support electrical integration activities and deliverables within the perimeter of projects and tenders of his/her own assignment, applying appropriate instructions, processes, and tools.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support and coordination of development activities during bid and project phases on electrical integration design of the vehicles (including harnesses/cabinets/panels and boxes design).
  • Definition/validation of design requirements for electrical integration on vehicle.
  • Analysis and validation of Suppliers' technical proposals.
  • Development of 3D/2D drawings and design for Electrical Integration and installation activities, from concept up to final release.
  • Production support and follow up updates, including change management.
  • Project Design reviews with Customer and Suppliers.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Good knowledge of harnesses design and cables routing as well as electrical subassemblies (such as Cabinets, panels, boxes and driver desk).
  • Good knowledge of mechanical design including bolted, riveted connections and welded joints.
  • Knowledge of electrical schematics/wiring documents.
  • Knowledge of the main office automation software/tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Knowledge of mechanical design software (Autocad, Creo, Catia, etc.) and any eventual requirements management tool (Doors,...).
  • Knowledge of Engineering Processes and Railway Operations.
  • Readiness to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, multitasking international environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to organize and coordinate activities of others.
  • Availability for short-term national and international business trips.
