Job Description

At Jabil Careers, we are seeking an experienced Production Floor Leader to join our team in Florence, KY. As a key member of our production team, you will oversee all production processes and assist the Supervisor in establishing production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitor materials and carts in unmarked locations. Ensure taping/labeling is completed in a timely manner. Escalate any issues that cannot be resolved.
  2. Physically observe operators performing their job functions and compare them to visual aids. Investigate any discrepancies.
  3. Hold leadership IL/DL teams accountable to documented processes.
  4. Evaluate and address any production-related issues.
  5. Ensure adherence to company policies, particularly those related to employee privacy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  6. Improve leadership and communication skills by fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment.
  7. Oversee the coordination of production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities.
  8. Review and discuss production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to identify causes of nonconformity.

Requirements

  1. High school diploma/GED required.
  2. At least 2 years' experience working on the Production Floor.
  3. At least 1 year of leadership experience is strongly preferred.
  4. Knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry is a plus.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
