Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Systems Technician to join our team. This role involves working with advanced refrigeration and air conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of thermodynamic principles, including refrigerant cycles and system components.
  • Utilize electrical expertise to interpret and analyze electrical schematics.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration and air conditioning systems effectively.
  • Employ technical instruments and tools necessary for service tasks.
  • Execute welding tasks and handle refrigerant gases safely.
  • Interpret technical bulletins and documentation accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with air treatment systems and their components.
  • Basic understanding of management and control systems for installations.
  • In-depth knowledge of current regulations in refrigeration and air conditioning.
  • Awareness of safety protocols and risk assessment related to the role.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and provide effective feedback.
  • Consultative skills to recommend optimal technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Certification in handling refrigerant gases.
  • Basic proficiency in software applications such as word processing and spreadsheets.

Work Conditions

Willingness to travel and participate in on-call service as required.
