Job Title: Associate Director, Human Resources Italy

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled HR professional to lead our Human Resources function in Italy. As Associate Director, Human Resources Italy, you will be responsible for designing and implementing all HR infrastructure, processes, and operational guidelines for the Italian organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all employment and HR legal matters within country legislations and company policies.
  • Manage all employee life-cycle administration from hiring to exit.
  • Be the HR contact person for all employees within the assigned region.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including selection, interviews, and decision making.
  • Perform local onboarding of new employees.
  • Handle and process local employee benefits administration with benefit and insurance providers.
  • Liaise with labor professionals and payroll providers.
  • Develop and implement organizational policies across the Italian organization.
  • Organize and coordinate all local employee-related events.
  • Develop and retain talents to support the business strategy.
  • Promote and foster a culture and environment that are productive, empowered, flexible, and supportive of people's needs.
  • Guide and support the local management team on HR and people matters.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or a relevant subject or equivalent professional qualification/experience.
  • Good understanding of Human Resources practices in Italy.
  • 5-7 years Human Resources experience in a multinational company environment.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical company is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to build up a HR structure.
  • Flexible to handle the strategic and administrative components of the job.
  • Highly computer-literate, IT-oriented, and systems/process-minded.
  • Capacity to work under pressure.
  • Creative, open-minded, flexible, self-learner.
  • Problem-solving ability; excellent communicator.
  • Commitment to best practice.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong in planning and project management.
  • Fluent in both Italian and English (written/spoken).
  • Ability to travel regularly to Region Europe HQ.
