Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Application Engineer to join our team, responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers, ensuring the successful implementation and operation of our products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface with business and customers on green energy related industries, utilizing strong technical and communication skills;
  • Work extensively with Business Development teams to evaluate and develop applicable solutions;
  • Collaborate with OEMs to develop innovative designs and costing that are scalable to many jobs and customer sites;
  • Work with Product Manager teams to develop new products according to market analysis based on industry customers;
  • Provide feedback on product performance and suggest improvements to the research and development team;
  • Write and present papers for professional engineering associations;
  • Maintain controlled copies of relevant applications and sales templates and documents;
  • Manage customer related NCR (Non-Conformance Report) and related processes;
  • Represent the company and promote our products and solutions at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve product knowledge and provide innovative solutions to customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering;
  • 3 or more years of work experience on green energy related industry;
  • Thorough technical understanding of distributed energy technologies, including some combination of solar, battery, and reciprocating engines/turbines. MV technologies knowledge is a must;
  • Proven technical problem-solving ability;
  • Strong negotiation, internally and externally;
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical people to make projects work;
  • Ability to effectively utilize dedicated resources and ability to plan, control and take responsibility for own work;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications;
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Also Italian and Spanish;
  • Ability to travel, as needed.
