Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Coating Engineer to join our Plant Design & Materials Division team in Rome, Italy. The successful candidate will work within the Industrial Coatings & Insulation section, responsible for developing project specifications for protective coatings, thermal and acoustic insulation, fireproofing, and refractory linings.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure timely and qualitative preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines.
- Elaborate insulation and painting summaries for both piping and equipment.
- Issue all technical documentation and price schedules for insulation, painting, fireproofing, and refractory lining subcontracts.
- Analyze offers from subcontractors, perform technical Bid Tabulation (including technical clarifications and deviations).
- Review all vendor documentation.
- Adhere to committed man/hours and budget.
- Meet quality and HSE objectives of the project.
- Interface with other discipline specialist engineers and project support functions such as procurement and planning.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to attend technical meetings with clients or suppliers, move to other Technip Energies operating centers, and join our colleagues overseas. Occasionally, they will also have the opportunity to follow up engineering activities related to protective coatings, insulation, fireproofing, and refractory linings directly on our sites, supporting the erection activities.
About YouWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Coating Engineer with a strong background in refractory linings and fireproofing materials. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience and a strong understanding of new energy sources, renewables, green/blue hydrogen technologies, and digital solutions. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package is an asset.
