About the Role

RINA is seeking a highly skilled Governance Risk & Compliance Specialist to join its team in Rome or Genoa. As a key member of our Cyber Security and Management Consulting Division, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating security risks within organizations and complex systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct security risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Verify compliance with laws, regulations, and standards related to security and cybersecurity
  • Support customers in cybersecurity-related activities and provide technical guidance
  • Draft technical reports and maintain and update RINA's cybersecurity guidelines and assessment methodologies
  • Contribute to business development by drafting technical offers and detailing services
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Cyber Security
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, international standards, and best practices (e.g. GDPR, ISO27k family, NIST Cybersecurity Framework)
  • Previous experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance activities for IT/OT security topics
  • Strong problem-solving ability and excellent communication skills (Italian and English)
  • Flexibility and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere
Desired Requirements
  • One or more security certifications/qualifications (e.g. ISO270001 Qualified Lead Auditor, GIAC/GICSP)
  • Knowledge of security tools/platforms (e.g. vulnerability assessment tools, penetration tests techniques)
