Job Description

We are looking for an Equipment Maintenance Specialist who can perform corrective, preventive, and predictable maintenance services and troubleshooting assistance over food equipment. You will be involved in the installation and commissioning of packaging equipment and provide technical training to our customers.

Your Responsibilities

• Participate in preparing customer sites for installation events, assembling machines
• Install, commission, and maintain equipment and installations of filling machines and distribution equipment in our customers
• Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding services on site and by phone
• Conduct production supervisor and operator training at customer sites
• Establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship with customers, including support and follow-up on customer concerns and problems
• Execute timely reporting of all discovered technical issues according to company processes
• Travel up to 90% of your working time to our customer sites

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electronic or electro-mechanical engineering - or equal experience in the field
• 1-2 years' work experience in electro-mechanical maintenance
• 1-2 years' experience in PLC, electrical, and electronic systems in general
• Able to repair machines onsite
• Experience with filling machines is a big advantage
• Willing to travel extensively on a weekly basis, more than 90% of your working time
• Native level of Italian and good command of English (writing/reporting skills are essential)
• Driving license
• Good command of computer skills
• Strong knowledge of MS Office
• Proven understanding of Customer Satisfaction and business vision
• Initiative and ability to work in a team
• Customer-oriented and result-oriented attitude
